Hosted by Newsquest Cumbria, the evening highlighted five ‘soapbox stars’ who all introduced creative ways to talk about their companies in 90-second sessions. Joy Yates, Newsquest North Cumbria editor, said: “The feedback from our networking events continues to be fantastic and it’s great to welcome newcomers as well as see those who have attended every month to date. The support is hugely appreciated. Our ‘soapboxers’ have been tremendous and a lot of effort has clearly gone into their individual, unique presentations.”
