A NEW network will offer people a chance to meet and help each other out with all things digital, marketing and business.
Hampshire-based businesswoman and digital marketing agency owner Sophie Roberts has launched Hampshire Digital as a free-to-join network.
It is aimed at helping business people deal with a local shortage of digital skills and equipping them for the challenges presented by the current economic climate.
Her own digital marketing company, Koozai, has seen a 40 per cent rise in enquiries in the past few months from business people who are stuck with an element of their website or marketing plan.
Ms Roberts, based in Lee-on-the-Solent, has been offering digital marketing services for 16 years.
She has 28 years’ of experience in the industry and has delivered campaigns for brands including Golden Wonder, Airfix & Humbrol and Victorinox Swiss Army Knives.
She said: “I understand from personal experience that when things get tough with the economy, it can have a huge knock-on effect and presents new challenges that need responding to quickly.
“Many of our clients experienced this during the pandemic and the 2008 recession, and it was only by banding together and supporting each other where we needed help that we were able to help each other not just survive, but thrive during difficult times.
“With inflation at a record high and the cost-of-living crisis starting to bite, our new Hampshire Digital network is there to help businesses to connect, share ideas, and support each other with their problems so that we can get through any oncoming economic headwinds together.”
The new network offers members benefits such as free opportunities to put questions to experts in marketing, search engine optimisation (SEO), PR, content marketing, advertising, social media and web development.
Members will have access to a private Teams chat for local business people and marketers, as well as opportunities for…
