Mediabrands Hong Kong has appointed Clausley Ng (pictured) as its new head of digital. Ng joined Mediabrands as a regional search specialist in 2013 and has since then worked across different industries such as media, advertising, digital performance marketing and fintech.
Prior to his new role, Ng was advisor at financial platform Hero Plus. He has also been the digital and eCommerce director at Omnicom Media Group for nine months this year, according to Ng’s LinkedIn.
Back in 2018, Ng joined PHD as associate performance director and was promoted to performance director after three years. He was then promoted to business director in 2021.

Back in July this year, Mediabrands named promoted Joanne Tong as the managing director of Hong Kong. Tong reported to Melinda Po, CEO of Mediabrands Greater China. Promoted from her prior position as head of strategy Mediabrands Hong Kong and Taiwan, Tong was responsible for the growth leadership of the Mediabrands Hong Kong agency network, drawing upon her 20 years specialised marketing and advertising industry experience across renowned 4A’s agencies and corporate behemoths.
Furthermore, IPG Mediabrands expanded its Mediabrands Content Studio (MBCS) in Malaysia in July with Stanley Clement as CEO, reporting to Bala Pomaleh, CEO of Mediabrands Malaysia. Reprise Creative, SpringCreek and Initiative Studio Malaysia integrated as one entity under the MBCS banner which act as the parent creative network, with Ensemble Worldwide remaining as a standalone brand.
